Biret Adden, Education Director at Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA), speaks about PRNSA’s Youth in Parks initiative, which addresses equitable access to outdoor experiences, and how PRNSA works with local schools and partners to offer meaningful outdoor learning opportunities for local youth.

In addition to her role at PRNSA, she is VP of CEEF, the California Environmental Education Foundation. She has been with PRNSA for nearly five years, and before that, she was with the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose for 12 years, connecting urban youth with the outdoors. With a background in plant science and horticulture and an MA in Environmental Education and Communication, she is dedicated to creating experiences that help people explore their relationship with the natural world.
