Robert Marshall speaks about H2Opendoors to Guatemala this past Feb., and his upcoming projects.
As a project of many Rotary clubs, H2OpenDoors enjoys the support of Rotarians and others throughout the globe. H2OpenDoors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that travels throughout the world installing water purification systems in countries where fresh, uncontaminated water is not available.
H2Opendoors Provides
Life-Saving Purification: They install high-tech water systems (such as the SunSpring) that use membrane technology to remove bacteria and viruses, providing thousands of people with safe drinking water and significantly reducing waterborne diseases.
Social Entrepreneurship: Rather than just donating systems, they help communities set up sustainable, locally-run micro-businesses, allowing residents to bottle and sell water to fund community healthcare and services.
Broad Humanitarian Impact: Alongside clean water, they bring offline educational services (RACHEL) to remote schools, provide mobile vision testing, and distribute hygiene kits for women and girls.
