The Rotary Club of West Marin is one of over 34,000 Rotary clubs around the world and is in ​Rotary District 5150, which includes San Mateo and San Francisco counties. Marin County. Our motto, Service Above Self, exemplifies the humanitarian spirit of the 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide. We aim to make a difference in the world, starting with West Marin.

Service efforts are directed toward our areas of focus:

• Peace and conflict prevention/resolution

• Disease prevention and treatment (especially Polio eradication)

• Water and sanitation

• Maternal and child health

• Basic education and literacy

• Economic and community development

• Supporting the environment

Where there’s a need, we reach out to local and international communities to develop sustainable solutions.

Together, we can achieve amazing results. We would enjoy hearing from you if you have an idea for a hands-on project in West Marin. Projects are most successful when the need has been thoughtfully studied and discussed. We sometimes partner with other volunteer organizations to benefit all concerned.
