Gianna Biaggi founded the Magnolia Project through a High Tech High New School Creation Fellowship in 2021. She is a social entrepreneur, former teacher, and administrator with a B.A. in International Studies from Kenyon College, an M.Ed. from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education, and a CTE Credential. Gianna has had professional fellowships from Future Founders and the Watson Institute, and is the 2017 winner of the Samuel Huntington Award for Public Service.

Gianna will speak about the Magnolia Project, which partners with Sonoma and Marin County schools to embed semester-long hands-on Career Exploration and Apprenticeship pathways into the school day. Magnolia Project was founded in partnership with Guerneville School in West Sonoma County in 2021 and is currently expanding its programs to serve middle and high school students in all four West Marin schools in the 2025-2026 school year (next year!).
