Rotary Club of West Marin Online Speaker Series | In Person and Via Zoom

Everyone is welcome! For a Zoom invitation, please email info@rotaryclubwestmarin.com.

Meadow Evans is a birth doula, massage therapist, and environmental educator working with students at Bolinas-Stinson School. She lives in Bolinas with her husband, Keith, and son, Emrys. Meadow played a key role in developing Young Stewards, an outdoor afterschool program inspired by Veena Lucas' vision, and has been deeply involved since its launch in 2017-18.

Presenting to the Rotary Club of West Marin, Meadow will share insights into Young Stewards of the Land, a program for 5th–8th graders focused on self-stewardship, land stewardship, and community care. Through hands-on learning with local specialists in the West Marin outdoors, students develop skills that connect them to nature and their community. Earth Allies, a similar program, extends this approach to younger students.

The program fosters mentorship between college, middle school, and elementary students, guided by Program Coordinators. Each week, students explore Bolinas, engaging with specialists who introduce skills and knowledge at the intersection of human experience and the natural world.
