Rotary Club of West Marin Online Speaker Series | In Person and Via Zoom

Everyone is welcome! For a Zoom invitation, please email info@rotaryclubwestmarin.com.

Alison Healy, a Marin County native, is a nonprofit leader and entrepreneur. During the pandemic, she co-founded Bay Area Marine Services and serves as Commodore of the International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians (IYFR). As former CEO of Alliance for Smiles, she oversaw numerous international Rotary grants and missions.

Presenting to the Rotary Club of West Marin, Alison will share updates on her nonprofit, Pathways 4 Thriving, particularly its work with Floating Doctors, which provides medical care to 8,000 indigenous Ngäbe people in Panama. These communities, accessible only by water, rely on Floating Doctors for healthcare, including maternal health, family planning, dental, and veterinary services. The program has significantly reduced birth rates and improved health outcomes.

Pathways 4 Thriving collaborates with local organizations to support economic development, health, and sustainability through Rotary grants. Floating Doctors also offers a seven-day Immersion Program, where volunteers contribute to clinics while learning about Ngäbe culture.

Alison will sell handmade bags from Colombia to raise funds for this mission. Learn more at pathways4thriving.org.
