Sara Matson, Development Director of Canal Alliance, will describe how her organization educates, empowers, supports and partners with low-income Latino immigrants to help them break the generational cycle of poverty by lifting barriers to their success.

Sara joined Canal Alliance in 2016 and oversees fundraising, grants management, marketing, communications, and volunteer engagement.  She has devoted her career to raising awareness and securing resources for organizations that provide health, education and human services for low-income communities.
